Passion for Lost Souls
What an awesome God we serve! We praise God
for opening up doors for us to many churches. When God called us to go forth
into His harvest field, He gave us a sense of urgency that time is running
out, thus the name Time Ministries.
It is because of that sense of urgency that
we ask you to pray that God will continue to open doors and to direct us on
where to go. We don't want to miss out on any opportunity that He gives us to
go reach the lost. We are living in the last days and we pray that the passion
to reach lost souls will burn in our hearts like it never did before.
These are some recent statistics that we just
learned. Do you know that every day 66,000 people die and go to hell? That
means that 46 people die and go to hell every 60 seconds. While we sit back
and sip on a cup of coffee, souls are slipping into hell. We hope and pray
that after learning of these statistics that we would never be the same.
That's why we ask you to pray that God would let that passion for lost souls
burn in our hearts and in yours like it never did before.
Greetings from Dan and Pearlyn...
Can you believe that we are now in this
ministry half a year? Time sure flies! As we look back and reflect on what the
Lord has done in the past six months, our hearts are just filled with praise,
awe, and gratitude to God for everything that He's done.
Again, we can't thank you enough for all your
prayers. We believe with all of our hearts that it's all the prayers that's
bringing the results. We'd like to ask you to please pray with us for God's
direction in this matter. There is a good possibility that we may be going to
the Philippines to minister next year. Please agree with us in prayer that God
would open the doors that need opened and close the doors that need closed. We
want to be sure that we are in the will of God. Thank you and blessings!
Kids Theology
A Sunday school teacher was talking to his
eight-year-olds' class about things money can't buy. "It can't buy
laughter," he told them. "That comes from the soul. And it can't buy
love." Driving this point home, he asked, "What would you do if I
offered you a thousand dollars not to love your mother and father?"
A few moments of silence ensued while the
boys and girls mulled this over. Then a small voice demanded, "How much
would you give me not to love my big sister?"
Hello, Who's Calling?
Heed the call! If God is calling you into the
ministry, we urge you to heed the call. There are too many souls perishing
while we sit and wait for God to call again and again.
As most of you know, God called us into the
ministry in 2001 but we didn't step out right away because we wanted to be so
sure that the call was of God. We asked God to confirm it, which He did, over
and over again. It came to the point that we were almost afraid to not heed
the call. So at the end of 2003, as we stepped out in faith and obedience, God
just poured our His blessings into our lives. In the last six months, we saw
almost 100 precious people come to accept Jesus as Savior and Lord.
We know we need to look ahead, which we do,
but yet we look back and we wonder, how many souls have missed out because we
didn't heed God's call when He first called? What a sobering thought! That's
why we urge you. If God is calling you into the ministry, step out in faith.
Time is running out!
Remember, every 60 seconds forty-six people
die and go to hell. You can help snatch some of those souls out of the pits of
hell by heeding the call.
Click, Click, Click
Click, click, click. Click here to download,
click here to delete, click here to remove, click here to open. Almost every
home has at least one computer, some more. We are a computer generation. It's
almost impossible to exist or accomplish anything without a computer anymore.
This newsletter has been put together with a computer. Most businesses can't
exist without one. Many of us would never think of living without one today.
We make reservations, plan trips and vacations with a computer. Can you
imagine life without a computer today? We spend hours and hours working at a
computer.
Yet when it comes to something that is really
of value, our spiritual life, we spend a token amount of time. You know the
Bible says in I Corinthians 15:51-52 that "there is a day coming, when we
shall not all sleep but shall be changed, in moment, in a twinkling of an eye,
at the last trumpet" (just like a click of a mouse). Many will be deleted
from the Kingdom of God.
II Corinthians 6:2b says, "Behold, now
is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation." Hebrews 2:15
says, "Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does
not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."
Wouldn't it be more profitable to put things
in God's perspective? Less time clicking, more time reading the Word. Less
time clicking, more time praying. Less time clicking, more time seeking. We
only go around once. The only thing that counts is what we have done for
Christ. Do we need computers? Yes. Are they important? Yes. Do we need to hear
from God? YES. Why don't we spend a little less time clicking and a lot more
time seeking what really matters?
Until next time, Dan
