Heading Out for the Harvest

2009 - More than half a year has now passed. God has blessed Time Ministries with so many opportunities to expand His kingdom. He has used you to send us out into the fields through your prayers and support. We are continually amazed at what He has done and is doing. Many seeds have been planted and watered; there has already been an early harvest of souls. As we head into the Fall of the year, Harvest time, we are asking God for a greater harvest yet for His kingdom.

All these are happening because of God's faithfulness, and your very faithful prayers and support. We give God all the glory and praise! We also thank you so much for being a very vital part of this end-time harvest.

We see the signs of the times very clearly pointing to Jesus Christ's very soon return. As children of God, this is a very exciting time for us. On the other hand, we must also be much burdened because more than 66,000 people die and go to hell everyday. What a horrible thing it is for them because they have lost their last chance, they have sealed their eternal destiny, they are doomed to burn in hell forever and ever. There is no more time for regret, not another chance of changing their minds, this is their eternal destiny. Some of them could be our loved ones, friends, neighbors, coworkers or maybe someone we may not even know. God has put that responsibility on us to tell them of the Hope and to stand in the gap for them, we cannot put that responsibility on someone else. Their very eternal destiny, heaven or hell, could be in our hands. Let us rise up and change this statistic. Actually, we don't like to use that word statistic because each one of them has an eternal soul. To our Heavenly Father, they are not just statistics either, He loves them as much as He loves you and me. He gave His all, His only Son, Jesus, to die for them, just like He did for you and me. This is why we are alarmed, very alarmed, this is why we go and share the Good News of Jesus Christ, their only Hope to escape an eternity in the lake of fire!

How about making a commitment to God to be a soul-winner for Him? This is God's call for your life. It does not matter what your vocation is, God called you to be a soul winner wherever He has planted you. Jesus is telling you to "Go and make disciples!"

As farmers hope for all conditions to be conducive to bring in a great harvest, we covet your prayers for our Heavenly Father to do the same for us on the spiritual realm. We need Him to go before us and prepare every heart, we need His presence to go with us so people will be drawn to Him. Pray that the Lord of Harvest will bring in a harvest beyond our wildest expectations for the latter part of 2009.

As I sit here and write this, I feel such a desperation for more of God because without Him, we are nothing, nothing at all. We are on the road because we want to be instruments used mightily of God to win the lost. To accomplish this, we need a double portion of God's anointing, the presence of God, on our lives so that when we come in contact with people, His presence will draw them to Him for His glory.

In the next few months, we will be in several states including Pennsylvania, Kansas, Nebraska, South Dakota, Michigan, and possibly a couple other states that we're still awaiting confirmation on. If we're in your area, we hope you can come out and see us. Don't forget to bring a friend, bring your lost friends, coworkers, neighbors, loved ones and anyone who's lost so we can minister the love of Jesus to them. The hour is late, we cannot waste any more time. People are dying and going to hell, we need to be about our Father's business. Get connected with Him, ask Him to give you divine appointments daily and be sensitive to His leading. As you do this, you'll see how God will put you at the right place and at the right time to harvest a precious soul for Him. These precious opportunities are always there, they're all around us. The question is, are we sensitive to the leading of the Lord? Yes, we need to be very sensitive to the Lord's leading so when such an opportunity arises, we don't miss it and we are aware of it so we can move with Him to accomplish His purpose. As you make yourself available to God in this way, He will give you endless divine appointments. It may not always be a harvest, it may be planting the seed or watering a seed that has been planted, but ultimately it's for His Harvest.

We believe this is the cry of the heart of our Lord Jesus, for us to "Go into the harvest field!" Tomorrow may be too late, today is the day of salvation. Now is the time, the right time for you to go after the harvest that God has prepared for you!

Greetings from Dan and Pearlyn...

Greetings in the love of Christ! We just returned from a stretch of 3 1/2 weeks of ministry in the Midwest and Pennsylvania. We came home rejoicing over the salvations and recommitments, glory to God!

While we were ministering at the Midwest Bible Camp in Watertown, South Dakota, we were very saddened that the Founder and Director of the Midwest Evangelistic Association, Dr. Keith M. Williams, passed away. Dr. Williams is very dear to us and we will sure miss him. We know that the Lord Jesus and the many thousands whom he was instrumental in winning to the Lord, were in heaven welcoming him home. God has used him in a mighty way.

We want to share this and hope it will inspire all of us to do whatever we can for the Lord. When we were in the Philippines this year, the ECOFI Ministry which Dr. Williams started in 1954, consisting of 2 Bible colleges and 384 churches, won 5,689 souls to the Lord, praise God! This is just in one year. Imagine this; if each one of them wins only 1 more every year, can you imagine how many people will be in heaven just because one man has made himself available to God?

Wow, God's blessings come in multiplications! So rise up children of the King of kings, come before His presence and say "Here I am, send me!" You'll be amazed at how God can use you!

Again, our heartfelt gratitude to all of you. Thank you for your prayers, encouragements and financial support!

2010 Philippines Trip

The Lord has again called us to go back to the Philippines in 2010. In the past two months, the Lord has spoken and confirmed to us several times that He wants us to go back. So here we are, in obedience to the call of God, making plans for the 2010 mission trip.

We are still working on our schedule and praying about what the Lord would want us to do when we are there. We will share more details with you in our next newsletter.

Come Visit the Philippines

We invite you to come on a trip with us to the Philippines through our website. Click on the "Ministry in Action" link and go on the trip with us through the 2009 Philippine Mission Trip slideshow. A picture is worth a thousand words. The slideshow is the closest thing we can show you to give you a glimpse of the trip. With all the layovers, it took us more than 30 hours to get there, this trip will take you only a few minutes. Come and see what the Lord has done! Praise God!

Listening? Doing?

As we get closer and closer to the second coming of Jesus, it is becoming apparent that many people who are sitting in church are not doing what the Lord has commanded us to do. Ezekiel 33:31 says, "So they come to you as people do, they sit before you as My people, and they hear your words, but they do not do them; for with their mouth they show much love, but their hearts pursue their own gain." Notice, God is not talking about the sinner but is referring to them as "My" people, the Church, the Bride of Christ! They hear, but pursue their own gain. If it doesn't prosper them, then they move to "things" that do. The problem is they're forgetting one important thing, the only thing that will last is what they've done for Christ, everything else will burn up.

What is it going to take to move God's people from just sitting and listening to actually moving in the presence of the Lord? Doing what He has called us to do, make disciples! Our churches are full of programs, fund raisers to fund more programs, and this isn't wrong but when are we going to get on board with God and start winning souls into the Kingdom?

Verse 32 says, "Indeed you are to them as a very lovely song of one who has a pleasant voice and can play well on an instrument; for they hear your words, but they do not do them." We are allowing the world to rule in our churches until we will no longer have a "church." When are we going to start doing what we are hearing? Church is not a drive through to pick and choose. Everything on God's menu, His Word, is for us. We can hear all the words but unless we do them, we are dead. We are like a ship in the sea without any motors or sails. We float aimlessly with no direction, and one day we will end up on shore with no cargo to show for the journey.

Do more than just listen to the preacher; get involved in doing what God is asking you to do.

Until next time, Dan
