One Quarter for God
As most of you know, Time Ministries, Inc.
officially started its ministry on Sunday, December 28, 2003. Here we are,
three months into this ministry and looking back at the awesome things God has
done and is still doing! Week after week, day after day, we just stand back in
amazement seeing all the wonderful things He's doing in people's lives.
The harvest is ripe. In the fourteen services
this first quarter, 59 precious souls have come to accept Jesus as their
Savior and 28 have recommitted their lives to Him. All we can say is to God be
the glory, great things He has done!
Again we want to thank you for lifting us up
in your prayers. We believe with all our hearts that it's the prayer of His
people that's making the difference in Time Ministries. God is honoring your
prayers. After each service, we would talk and reflect on what God has done
and we just marvel at what He's doing. Glory to God!
Greetings from Dan and Pearlyn...
He is risen, He is risen indeed! Blessed
Easter Greetings from our home to yours! First of all, we would like to thank
all of you for your prayers, encouragements, moral and financial support, your
love and kindness, and for standing behind us and cheering us on through this
first quarter. Thank you for being our partners in this ministry. We are so
humbled that God would choose us to be a part of His awesome work. We just
can't cease to praise Him for what He's doing. Praise the Lord!
Kids Theology
The Sunday School teacher asked each child to
identify a favorite Bible character.
"Mine is King Solomon," declared
one little girl.
"And why is that?" asked the
startled teacher.
"Because he was so kind to ladies and
animals."
"Who told you that?" asked the
teacher.
"Nobody. I read it myself in the Bible.
It says, "Solomon kept 700 wives and 300 porcupines."
Time Ministries Logo
When God gave us the name Time Ministries, He
also gave Dan a vision of a logo. The logo is a picture of a clock, with the
numbers 7 to 11 wisping into flames, the time being two minutes before
midnight, and Jesus standing above the clock with open arms. The logo has been
in the works for the past several months. Dan shared the vision with Lynn
Morton, who sketched it out on paper. In December, Dan gave the sketch to our
sister-in-law, Charlotte Tan. She came up with the final drawing last month.
It is now in the hands of SKE Designs being digitized and put onto a vinyl
decal for the trailer.
We want to thank Lynn and Charlotte for
taking time out of their busy schedules to finalize this for us. We want to
thank SKE Designs for donating all the letters for the back of the trailer.
SKE Designs is a Christian signage company, located in Bedford, Pennsylvania.
You can contact them at 814-623-7500.
So now when you see us on the road, you'll
recognize us. Give us a honk and cheer us on in Jesus' Name.
Today? Or Tomorrow?
Pearlyn sometimes gets on me about doing
certain things. You see, I have a tendency to procrastinate. I like to make
sure before I start something. Sometimes that's okay, but when it comes to
making a decision for Jesus, that's not okay.
One of the biggest tricks the Devil will use
is to tell you, "not today." In II Corinthians 6:2b the Bible says,
"Behold, now is the accepted time: behold, now is the day of
salvation."
As we look at the things going on around us,
we can be certain they are the signs of the last days. Jesus said in Matthew
24:6 that we would hear of wars and rumors of wars. He said there will be
famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. He said these are the
beginnings of sorrows. We have certainly seen these things take place. There
was tremendous sorrow on September 11, 2001.
Today, tomorrow, only God knows. But there's
one thing sure. Every individual will stand before God on that final day.
Don't procrastinate your decision to receive and serve Jesus. Be ready! He's
coming!
Until next time, Dan
